What the complaint alleges
PeaceHealth, a Washington not-for-profit healthcare system, filed a short-form complaint in the Northern District of Illinois against multiple defendants including Claritev Corp. (f/k/a MultiPlan), several Blue Cross Blue Shield entities, Aetna, Cigna, and Elevance Health, among others. The complaint alleges that the defendants participated in a hub-and-spoke conspiracy to suppress out-of-network reimbursement rates paid to healthcare providers through MultiPlan's repricing services, causing PeaceHealth financial harm.
