AUSTIN (LN) — U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan Hightower on Wednesday consolidated the related suit, Young v. Oracle Corporation et al, into the master multidistrict litigation, In re Oracle Corporation Data Breach Litigation, ordering the clerk to administratively close the case and transfer all documents to the main file.
The order in Young, Case No. 1:26-cv-01011, clarifies a prior consolidation directive entered May 8, 2026. Hightower ruled that the suit must be folded into the Consolidated Action pursuant to Paragraph 12 of the court’s Jan. 5, 2026 consolidation order.
The caption in Young lists Karen Young as plaintiff on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated. The consolidation moves the case from its individual docket into the master file, where the court has been managing discovery and pretrial proceedings for the broader data-breach controversy.
Hightower’s Wednesday order directs the clerk to transfer all documents already docketed in the Young case into the consolidated action, effectively ending the separate procedural track for the related suit.
The master litigation involves allegations surrounding a significant data breach affecting Oracle’s systems, with numerous related actions consolidated to streamline pretrial management.
